Blooming Pancakes
Edible flowers are so cheerful! They make any recipe looks fun and festive. They're good for birthdays, anniversaries, dinners with family or friends... I found these for $0.99 cents at Sprouts Farmers Market. How do they taste?
Frankly I am not a fan! I just feel like I am eating a flower. But my friend says it tastes fruity to her with mango's flavor.
To me edible flowers are a super nice food ornament which will put a smile on everybody's face.
I made these whole wheat pancakes with a melted dark chocolate chips topping which helped making flowers stable besides testing delicious. :) Who doesn't want pretty pancakes like this? Have you ever tried edible flowers, what do you think?
